Boundary Bay Veterinary Specialty Hospital is a 24-hour emergency vet clinic based in Langley that serves the entire Vancouver Lower Mainland (Surrey, Richmond, Coquitlam, etc).
We accept emergency patients 24/7. No referral is required; walk-ins welcome.
If your pet is experiencing a life-threatening emergency, please bring him/her directly to the hospital. If you have time and it is safe for you to do so, please call the hospital at 604-514-8383 to let us know you are on the way.

Seek medical attention immediately if your dog or cat exhibits:
  • Trouble breathing
  • Collapse, extreme weakness, cannot get up, pale mucous membranes
  • Serious injury or trauma (hit by car, attacked by another animal, a fall, a broken bone)
  • Seizures
  • Vomiting, diarrhea, and/or not eating or drinking especially for more than 24-hours
  • Pain or difficulty urinating or defecating, not urinating or defecating at all
  • Bleeding or blood in vomit, urine or feces
  • Bloat (distended or hard abdomen, retching)
  • Ingestion of poison (e.g. household chemicals like pot-pourri or detergent, medications, anti-freeze, chocolate, grapes, rodenticide, recreational drugs, xylitol)
